Terms and conditions
ROOM BOOKINGS
Room guarantee
All bookings require a deposit equal to 100% of the stay at the time of reservation to confirm. A secure payment link will be issued and will remain valid for 24 hours; if payment is not received within this time, the reservation will be released.
Any outstanding charges are to be settled on departure.
On arrival, guests will be asked to present the credit card they intend to use during their stay. This card will be pre-authorised for the total anticipated cost of accommodation.
All accommodation bookings are subject to a 5% discretionary service charge.
Your stay
Room keys should be returned to reception upon departure. A fee of £60 will apply for any lost or unreturned keys.
Late check-out may be available on request and may incur an additional charge.
Breakfast is included and served in the restaurant designated for your chosen building. Should you wish to dine elsewhere, a reservation will be required and additional charges will apply in line with the à la carte menu.
Room cancellations
Cancellations or amendments made within 72 hours of the scheduled check-in time (3:00 pm on the day of arrival) will incur a charge equal to 100% of the total stay, or the number of nights cancelled.
Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to check-in will receive a full refund of the deposit.
Please note that non-refundable or advance purchase rates, as well as reservations of four nights or more, are non-refundable. Amendments or rescheduling are not permitted and will be treated as a cancellation, with the full charge applied.
RESTAURANT BOOKINGS
Deposits
Bookings for tables of eight or more guests are considered events and will require a deposit to confirm.
Special occasions, including Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and selected dates, may require a deposit for all guests. This will be advised at the time of booking.
Cancellations
Reservations may be cancelled without charge up to 48 hours prior to the booking time.
Cancellations made within 48 hours, or non-arrivals, will incur the following charges per person:
Breakfast reservations: £20
Lunch and dinner reservations: £50
Special dining experiences, including The Garden House Garden Table, Balloon Dining, Wild Kitchen and picnics, are subject to individual cancellation terms, which will be shared at the time of booking.
Children
Children are welcome at The Garden House Restaurant, The Pizzeria at The Deli, and Mrs Beeton’s Restaurant at The Village at all times.
In The Dining Room, children are welcome until 7:00 pm. Sir Frank’s Bar welcomes children until 6:00 pm.
Please let the team know in advance if you require a high chair or children’s menu. Children aged 12 years and under must be supervised at all times while on The Estate.
Allergies
Every care is taken to avoid cross-contamination; however, our kitchens handle allergenic ingredients and we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. We are not a nut-free establishment. If you have any allergies or dietary requirements, please let a member of the team know in advance or during your visit.
ACTIVITY BOOKINGS
Sharky & George
Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance, or non-attendance, will incur a charge.
The Coach House Spa
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a charge of 100% of the treatment or session fee.
Beaverbrook activities
Cancellations made within 48 hours will incur a charge of 100% of the activity fee.
POLICIES
Dogs & Pets
Dogs are warmly welcomed at Beaverbrook and may stay with their owners in designated rooms. A charge of £50 per dog, per night applies.
Dogs should be kept on a lead when walking around The Estate, and we kindly ask owners to clean up after them.
Dogs are welcome to join you for dining at The Garden House and Mrs Beeton’s Restaurant, where tables will be allocated in designated areas. They are not permitted in other restaurants, bars, or spa facilities and remain the responsibility of their owner at all times.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted within any of our buildings. If smoking occurs in guest rooms, a cleaning charge will be applied.
Mobile phones
We kindly request that mobile phones are not used within restaurant spaces.
Personal property
Beaverbrook accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to guests’ personal belongings.
Driving on The Estate
For the safety of all guests and team members, please observe a speed limit of 20mph across the estate, reduced to 10mph in designated areas.
CCTV operates in public and selected staff areas for security and safety purposes.
Photography and filming
All photography and filming must be pre-authorised by a member of the Beaverbrook Executive team.
No photography or filming may take place without an appointed hotel representative present.
Use of the Beaverbrook name, brand assets, imagery, trademarks or uniforms is not permitted without prior written consent.
