Welcome to A Sky Full of Stripes

"I fell off my pink cloud with a thud."
Elizabeth Taylor, friend of Lord Beaverbrook and former House Guest.

We are excited to announce the return of our stationary hot air balloons in The Italian Garden at The House. This year, sporting elegant designs from luxury table dressers Summerill and Bishop, six balloons, delicately decorated with rose pink and raspberry red stripes, are ready to welcome you for an alfresco Japanese dining with a twist. Menus this year will range from £85.00 per person to £195 per person.

A Culinary Journey...

With a dynamic menu curated by Beaverbrook’s Executive Development Chef, Wojciech Popow, guests will step into their sky themed hot air balloon and let a myriad of handcrafted dishes take them away!
This year’s menu offers a three-course Japanese extravaganza, as well as the return of a Yakiniku grill for an interactive dining experience. For that extra touch, choose to pair the menu with a Moet & Chandon Vintage Champagne Flight, designed to complement the dishes.

Notting Hill cool meets Riviera chic

Summerill and Bishop’s imitable Stripe collection brings the skyline of the Italian Garden to life this year with linear pattern of Raspberry Red and Rose Pink.  Where Notting Hill cool meets Riviera chic, the contrasting stripes are inspired from past travels and the coming together of friends, family and lovers around the table in the present.

Table scaping for each of the six balloons will feature Summerill and Bishop designs and homeware items and demonstrates their founding concept that table laying is an art form that can be mastered by all, no matter how big or small the occasion!
